As the places to hide are running out , it is becoming increasingly obvious that only living in accordance with life can be called living at all. Everyone knows what living in accordance with life is and what it feels like, but most have forgotten. What is called intuition is deep within our souls and speaks to us all the time . Hearing it is so effortless that it can be difficult to do, and the palaces we build to hide from ourselves become our prisons, the holes we dig to bury our dreams become our graves.

Nothing is anything by itself but only in relation to other entities.
Everything becomes an individual entity only in relation to other individual entities.
Hence that which truly benefits oneself is that which benefits others and that which harms others harms oneself, and vice versa.
Life is only possible through an infinite network of interdependence. We have been exploring parasitism and predation as survival strategies. Perhaps we are ready to explore symbiosis?

Any number of realities and life streams can be generated from one blueprint, each reflecting the kind of relationships that are being explored consciously or usually unconsciously. The same process can be experienced in various reflective or reactive ways that feed back and "re-create" the process accordingly. Consciousness gets trapped in feedback loops until sufficient awareness is achieved to recognise the process of feedback and reverse or realign the direction of energy.

Individuated , limited consciousness and unified, unlimited consciousness neither arise from the body, or the mind, nor do they exist without the body, or the mind, as all these are categories created for and by the polarisation that is concomitant with the current state of the evolution of consciousness, equivalent to the toys and stories we give our children.

All beings are one being in different guises.
One being can only exist as all beings .

Nothing is an illusion anymore than everything is an illusion. Since such thinking is generally unproductive, it is much more effective to regard everything as real, recognising denial, and accepting that right here and now is all ways where it's at. Accepting what's here and now is the key to transforming it. This world is no mistake, this reality is transcendental reality, as life is transcendance. Mistakes are keys to learning , and there is no taking without giving, or giving without receiving.

The most dignified life that i can imagine is that of communion. When that is not possible, that of communication. Being true to ourselves goes together with being true to others. Only then is real communication possible. Inspiring others as we have been inspired, helping as we have been helped, loving as we have been loved, blessing as we have been blessed, teaching as we have been taught, is what makes any spiritual practice true to itself rather than just an indulgence, or worse a way to make one superior to and separate from others and thus a betrayal of itself.

We find ourselves today living in the midst of a "civilisation" that we now know is built using biological and cultural genocide and relies on a greedy sucking away or destroying of anything truly precious on this planet to perpetuate itself. The computer i am using to write this cost more than most people on the planet make in a year, and it was manufactured using technologies and materials whose production is damaging to the biosphere; the free time i have at my leisure to do such things as write and make music or imagery is undreamt of by most people on the planet , whose basic survival needs aren't being met, or who live in a constant fear of violence, because of the activities of those who have been shaping the course of our "progress". It is not easy not to feel ashamed for this situation. . .

In this context , i often cannot help seeing a large part of the "new" spirituality movement here in the "west" as simply the symptoms of a decadent and decaying society, elaborate acts of hiding, falsifying and avoiding. Why bother when 2012 is so near? Everything will surely be fixed then!

Having been granted with the gifts of vision that the plants gave us puts us in a doubly responsible position . If as above so below then it follows that our internal world affects the external world, in simple terms. Peace and ecology begin at home; the word ecology comes from "ecologia" which means: the science or the dialectics of "ecos", which means house and home. We need to establish and maintain the basis for peace and balance within, end the war on our selves, our bodies, our spirits. Almost everything we have been taught, even simple things such as the food we like to eat, is part of the culture of violence, greed and laziness. Spending some time in the wilderness quickly reminds us how addicted we are to : cars, not walking, electricity, toilet paper, noise, junk food, fear, anxiety, alienation from the natural world, etc etc.

The thought that changing ourselves will somehow change the world brings up a brick wall type of block for the mind when not in a state of cosmic unity. But when the latter has been experienced and understood, this thought begins to haunt one. Still, it smells of immaturity, but it is easy to see how it is true when applied on a smaller scale. Changing ourselves definitely goes hand in hand with a change in the world we find ourselves in , our immediate life circumstances as well as how we relate to them.

Our daily lives put us to the test at least as much as our most challenging trips or rituals. Nothing of what we learn or remember in our higher consciousness forays has much reality or relevance when it is not manifest in our conduct, the way we relate to others , and ourselves, what we do with the life we know is a blessing. Carrying on with business as usual is hardly a sign of change!
How we live the life we know is a blessing is an integral part of our spiritual development , as important as our practices. Extending sacred space outwards as well as inwards is the key to keeping it alive and real.

When one truly opens to positive change and acts upon it , the results become slowly obvious in the course of one's life. One learns to work with every situation towards a positive or at least neutral outcome. One learns about the importance of energy, its conservation and direction. Eventually one is able to face difficulties and obstacles without panic , fear, anger, or other counterproductive reactions. One learns one's own habitual behavioural patterns and commits oneself to break them. . .

One of the most important sources of pain, suffering and violence in this world comes from the lack of love that most of us have to live with. The healing of the heart centre brings out an increased sensitivity towards other people's suffering, feelings and needs. This is the key that opens the door to the world we all truly want to live in and it is becoming imminently important to accept.

Advances in weapons and communications technology over the last century have rendered war, tribalism and violent resistance literally dead ends. As globalisation becomes more and more real, the mixing of peoples and cultures, often violent, accelerates; Europe is facing an influx of people from eastern Europe, Africa and beyond, most of them eager or desperate to enjoy the promises of capitalism. The fragmentation of the human psyche is deepening in parallel as rootlessness and alienation become the only shared tradition. Those in the west in touch with the evolutionary currents of life and consciousness are in the position of shining the light for awareness, inspiration, peace and respect in their communities and abroad with their presence and their action. We can all gently and effectively remind ourselves and others of the things that are truly valuable in life. Running away or delegating responsibility is becoming increasingly unfeasible, irresponsible and unrealistic, not even as the fool's heedlesness. Laughing in the face of adversity is good , but loving in the face of adversity is the real challenge we are faced with...
