Some excerpts from my writings, in no particular order:
Familiar to humans for millennia , contact with the ally feels futuristic, exotic, and deeply human at the same time. It is now available to all who are ready to take the step into timeless multidimensionality. The new humans are at one with their body-heart-mind, earth, and all beings on a deep level; at home with the interactive, open-ended novelty of the plant teachers ; and in peace with their darkness.
Television and the internet seem to be just pale reflections, a simulated hyperspace, an attempt at manufacturing what is naturally available to us on a much more meaningful level.
True information is in-formation, it shapes and finetunes the human being towards survival , fulfilment and expression as embodied living loving consciousness- much more useful in the long run than a technology of mediation.What is on offer is integration. On the personal level , the "shamanic" deconstruction and reconstruction of the human being , from the healing space of the heart. The forging of a relationship with an "ally" , or spirit guide . A deep , visionary connection with nature. Cosmic love. The access to the true hyperspace, and hence: the transcendence of personality hang-ups , projections onto others, obstacles to true relationship and games of all sorts.On the transpersonal level, the rediscovery of ritual and spontaneity , of synchronicity, timelessness, loving communion. These are not "higher" things but primary human dimensions that have been forgotten.
Outside the Amazon , many of us are interested in the visionary and transformationary potential of working with the plant and fungal allies and are in a position to be able to work with them at home . A lot of research and experimentation has already been underway for a good few years and we are coming to the beginning of an understanding of the enormous value of this tea for the evolution of consciousness and shared spirituality as well as a clarification of some of the parameters involved in this work.
Part of this work has been and is a repeated immersion in and interaction with the space of pure potentiality and wholeness to which the allies afford access; and a releasing of obstacles to the realisation of that consciousness. I would like to promote the integration and open communication of the realities that are open to us via these medicines, and the idea that reclaiming our connection with the source is a here-and-now option that is as natural as opening your eyes or speaking the truth.
More specifically, the plants and the spirits are older than any tradition attached to them. Here we have an unprecedented opportunity for a true rebirth of the spiritual in our lives .We do not need to go to exotic places to seek the guru or the medicine man. We do not need to learn Sanskrit or Hebrew or Quechua. At least not all of us !I do not work as a "guide" in the conventional sense of the word. The real guide is within , to be discovered by each individually. I am not interested in cults and priests . Everyone is a special person responsible for their continued growth and i would like everyone to realise that for themselves . I am working towards the empowerment of individuals and perhaps communities.
Commonly , the way ayahuasca is worked with is via the voice. The "shamans" (a word not used in south America, unless it is for attracting tourists!) "guide" the other participants in an ayahuasca ritual by vocalisations, chanting and singing songs inspired by the energy of the ayahuasca. These sounds can often help everyone flow with the experience and fully feel their humanity, at a deep level , beyond the verbal and conceptual. Those who care , and dare, to take this medicine alone, and experiment, may gradually discover and learn to allow their voice to permanently transform their experience...
... we never fall all the way back down. Yes, learning surrender and courage...All intellectual knowledge gained from these insights is provisional and likely to be demolished by the next brew or life itself..."We have replaced intuition with information" can't remember where i saw that...
One attitude the ally teaches me as far my relationship with it goes, is to not try to hold on to experiences. They are all unique personal and trans- personal metaphysical events: one-offs by definition. As i keep doing it i am changed , and what happens during the dream changes me , so it will repeat itself only when there is something i haven't integrated yet, until i get the message. This is one of the reasons why i don't usually write or read straight "trip reports", to let them go, to not freeze-dry those uncapturable timeless moments, and to avoid the trap of comparing ....
Antero Alli in his really helpful book "Angel Tech" says that :1) Absorption, 2) Organisation, and 3) Communication, are necessary steps for "graduation" into higher -or deeper- levels of consciousness. Steps 2) and 3) are why i'm writing this. "Getting high is information gathering, staying high is the result of transmuting information into living experience."
Go deep until you can go no more. Then come back and re-member. It's up to you to use the ways you have been shown. Tune in , then speak, create, do it . You have been in-spired. In-spirited...
...Sometimes we need to withdraw from relationship to redefine how we are going to relate, as it's obvious our old ways didn't work! Sometimes great resistance is required to arrive to the path of least resistance.
If you want to reconnect with nature, do it in the nature, or in your garden. Look around . There's more to it than birds and trees and grass. Yet it's just birds and trees and grass...
If you want to reconnect with people, do it with people. Look at you . Look at each other. Fearlessly and clearly . Celebrate transcendence, not gratification. Humanity is a work in progress. Please contribute.
It really is very simple. A gratuitous grace. No need to complexify.
"Oh, no it's not like that, i must do this first, I'm not pure enough. I must try harder . This isn't a true spirituality , i don't deserve this... "
It is and you do. What we've been waiting for has already arrived. Hop on board!
